The first week of 22 Minute Hard Corps is DONE!
Can I just say that I surprisingly have been loving this program so far?
If I’m being honest, I do NOT enjoy cardio. I would much prefer doing light weight training. In the past, I used to do all cardio and yes it is great for weight loss, however, I didn’t feel like my muscles looked toned. When I started doing light weight training, my muscles took on a nice lean definition.
I thought that 22 Minute Hard Corps was going to be all cardio, but I was wrong! It is actually a perfect combination of cardio and weight/resistance training, which I absolutely LOVE. In fact, it comes with 8 DVDs total.
The calendar just rotates the workouts, which again, are a perfect combination of cardio and resistance training. And you throw in a little ab work too because who doesn’t want to lose that muffin top, right?
I have always been a HUGE HUGE fan of 21 Day Fix and 21 Day Fix Extreme, but this home fitness program may top my list, or at least come very very close. 22 Minute Hard Corps also comes with a simple, easy guide to follow for eating as well. It follows a portion control guide similar to the 21 Day Fix program.
Here was my meal plan for the first week of 22 Minute Hard Corps!
Lastly, Tony Horton’s energy throughout the workouts, as well as the veterans that are a part of the workout — is awesome! I typically listen to music when I workout, but it’s not even necessary because they keep you really PUMPED up during the entire 22 minutes!
